TSTA Pre-Conference 8:00-4:00, Sheraton Music City, Nashville, TN
Topic: Nonverbal communication and structures for discussion, inquiry, & meetings
Speaker: Kendall Zoller, President of Sierra Training Associates, Inc.
Cost: $80 included individual membership fee and lunch

The program, led by Kendall Zoller, held on Thursday, November 15 allowed participants to practice the skills introduced in the session. At the end of the session participants demonstrated:

•  Communication skills from nonverbal communicative intelligence that support thinking and positive group dynamics

•  Structures of dialogue and how they support collaborative inquiry

•  Norms of collaboration that support group dialogue and discussion

•  Meeting structures that focus energy, save time, and accomplish the desired outcomes

•  Protocols for use in meetings and workshops that focus energy and promote thinking

Eight hours of TASL Credit was approved for this workshop.
