Adventure Travel Destinations

People seeking adventure while traveling will find Canada as the perfect place for action. Canada’s geographic location offers a wide variety of choices for every type of adventure. The snow during winter offers a venue for skiing, snow boarding and snow trekking. It is a place of great lakes and thousands of smaller lakes and rivers which are perfect for recreational fishing, kayaking, canoeing, para-sailing and wake-boarding. Canada’s rich wildlife is suitable for nature tripping while its long and rugged mountain ranges are perfect for trekking, bungee jumping, zip-lining, all terrain tours and even gondola rides.

South America also offers irresistible venues for those who are interested in wildlife adventure. Discovering the thrills in the Patagonia region across Argentina offers a sight that keeps the visitors from wanting to leave. If you are interested in history, you can learn about the Incas, once a glorious civilization whose relics are atop Andes mountains. You can find them by including Peru in your destination list. Amaze and thrill yourself to the richness of wildlife in the great rivers of Amazon by experiencing the adrenaline rush whenever you see huge anacondas and fatally poisonous snakes.

Another place known as the haven for adventure seekers is Africa. Its wildlife forest and the desert is a perfect place for those who love exciting encounters. The Sahara travel adventure is a perfect alternative if you are not fond of the snow. Here you can enjoy African wildlife with elephant and gorilla trekking excursions in the north and southern part of the desert. What more could be exciting than sleeping in a tent together with the untamed creatures of the wilds?

Moving in the east region, you can find the irresistible beaches of Hawaii, the Boracay Island in the Philippines, Bali in Indonesia, Phuket in Thailand and a lot more of perfect places for water travel adventure. The great waves of Hawaii are just what the surfers would love to see. Appreciate the diversity of the seas in Bali with deep water diving and snorkeling. Who has not heard of Boracay Island in the Philippines? Its pearly white sand has lured millions of tourist from all over the world. An enough invitation for you to come as well. Whenever you choose to go for an adventure in the pacific you can always expect a wide range of thrill and fun from sailing, diving, underground water adventure and keep in mind that a lot of things are yet to be discovered.

BIG SUR in California, has all that, you can camp on the beach (we did) and build a fire ( we did that too) you can hike up the river near Big Sur, There is the Redwood forest close by, , with giant Sequoya tees. you are close to everything yet still out in the wilds.
More rugged? go to Colorado, or British Colombia or Alberta and drive up the Jasper highway, see the Glaciers before they are gone, and visit Lake Louise, for Sunday Brunch at the Chateau. And hike til you're hearts content. BUT watch out for Grizzleys and Mountain Lions. there are lots( I'm Canadian)

I've been to Russian Siberia. Lived there for a year. Cold but fantastic. I thoroughly recommend it. As for the rest, I'd love to see them all, especially the Outback.

I've been to both places and I would go back to Costa Rica again no questions asked. In fact, I've been to Costa Rica twice now . . . the second time I was married there. To me, it's not even really a fair comparison. It's like comparing a trip to Disneyland and Yellowstone. Like you, I'm an adventure traveler and Costa Rica is arguably the best place in the world for that. Don't get me wrong, Hawaii is great, but it's wrapped in a veil of Japanese and American capitalism and the beaches are littered with high rise condos and gift shops selling plastic junk from China. While Costa Rica isn't completely untouched anymore, it's far less commercialized than any place the states can offer. And the dollar still goes pretty far there. Plus the travel time is normally considerably less. Either way, have a great trip no matter where you decide to go. Pura Vida !!!

they don’t go around killing gay people BUT they are very against it.

Why not to visit Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. Start from Venice than rant a car to visit Slovenia (just 150 km from Venice. Visit there the capital Ljubljana, nearby lake Bled and the biggest European cave Postojna and from there proceed to nearby Istria peninsula in Croatia (only 40 km from Slovenija). Visit this beautiful coast and Adriatic blue sea and cities like Rovinj, Pula (with its third European Amphitheatre), old romantic towns like Motovun and many others.

From there you can return back to Italy and visit Romeo’s and Juliet’s Verona on the way to Milan. The weather in these countries is just sunny and with a lot of fun specially for younger people.

Jamaica is the most beautiful island undoubtedly (and my heritage is Kittician) but it’s restless in parts…I wouldn’t live there, not unless I could afford the mountains, but unfortunately those are full of whites.

There are few countries in the world that are culturally very rich. I recommend the most popular tour in India called Golden Triangle Tour, and their website is also by the same name http://www.goldentriangletour.com. You can also enjoy many other places. Besides India, look for other exciting options visiting Bali, Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai, Sydney, Sri Lanka, etc.

Anonymous Says:

The water in Jamaica is one of the best in the world. No one dies or even gets sick from drinking it… I am drinking it right now.. As for the gay issue, it is sad when people stay outside and judge another country. Jamaicans are very homophobic, but they don’t waste time murdering gays… The Jamaican people are very conservative and don’t like to see people displaying affection openly- yes not even straight people. They believe those things belong indoors.

You'll probably end up red flagged for advertising ,but I'll take a look.

hi,

india is a safe place if you follow few rules here, just dont go lonely places in night, try visiting arts & cultures center in the office timings, do not stay at new places, always take a crowdy [u will find plenty of crowd almost everywhere] route to go and come, opt for city center hotels, travel by air, do not wear revealing dresses, buy a local mobile handset and number temporarily [go for cheaper mobile if u dont want to use in future], save telephone numbers of your hotel at every city you visit.
there are plenty of tourist travelling safely everywhere in india so you are sure to meet people of similar interests to you.

best wishes,

Take an Amtrak train to Santa Barbara (or San Diego).

Enjoy the beach, and shops and restaurants on State Street (or Old Town SD).

The coase is wonderful, and you can relax on the ride.

Regarding gays: They believe that whatever u are doing is your business but you should keep it to yourself. Some gays are beaten when they show their affection publicly which offends the masses who weren’t brought up that way .

Re: Water- I wouldn’t recommend that you drink the Jamaican water if you don’t usually drink tap water. I have friends who just can’t drink tap water because of the Chlorine content etc….
